Google+ PagesGoogle+ Pages provide businesses & brands with an identity and presence on Google+

  • Linking your Google+ Page & your website helps Google determine the relevancy of your site to a user query
  • Makes your site eligible for Google+ Direct Connect (which makes it easy for users to find your Google+ page from Google search)
  • Google+ is now concentrating on ensuring that you can build relationships with all the things you care about from local businesses to global brands, hence the roll out of Google+ Pages worldwide
  • Help you connect with customers interested in you, your products or services. Not only can they recommend you with a +1, add you to a circle to listen long-term, but they can spend time with you or your team face to face (Hangouts)
  • Put a link to your G+ Page everywhere you communicate online to encourage people to add your page to their circles so that your posts will appear in their stream
Google+ CirclesGoogle+ Circles
  • Just like Groups in Facebook and Lists in Twitter, Circles enable you to share information or content with specific people
  • Google provides you with a couple of circles to begin with but you can also create your own
  • You can ‘hang out’ live with a local shop, discuss your wardrobe with a favorite clothing line or follow a band on tour
  • Adding them to circles will enable you to create lasting bonds with the Pages and people who matter most to you.
  • Circles make it easy to share the right things with the right people and it is also easy to see what the people in any circle are sharing so you never miss a post, picture, or link with circles. Whether it’s restaurant directions on Google Maps or an entertaining YouTube video, circles make sharing easy no matter what you are doing
Google+ HangoutsGoogle+ Hangouts
  • Hangouts allow you to chat face to face from your pc, phone or tablet device. Up to 10 people can join a hangout and you can invite specific friends or circles – share the latest news and see everybody’s reactions live, or add apps to your hangout to watch together
  • Free video conferencing for up to 10 people – share what is on your screen, collaborate in Google Docs, view presentations, etc. together. Simply click the ‘Add App’ button inside your Hangout to browse and add new Apps. If a team member is unable to join the Hangout, you can dial them in via the ‘Invite’ button then the ‘+telephone’ link
  • ‘Enable Hangouts On Air’ to stream your Hangout publicly on your Google+ profile, YouTube channel and website. During the broadcast, you can look inside the Hangout to see how many viewers are watching live. Once you’re off air, Google will upload a recording to your YouTube channel and Google+ post so that you can share and discuss your broadcast afterwards
